GCCA Admissions

Our goal is to provide a balanced curriculum of Christian principles and traditonal learning that is high quality and a low-cost education to all students. Grace Care Christian Academy has a rolling admission process that is open to all students at any time due to our ability to offer traditional face to face courses as well as online courses. In addition, you must be admitted into GCCA before registering for our courses. Admission applications are accepted at any time and may be completed and submitted online by mail or fax, or in person.

Before & After School is included in the tuition price for GCCA K4 thru 12th grade students. Before care is from 6am to 8am. School begins at 8am and ends at 3:15pm. After school care is from 3pm to 6pm. There is a fee of $50 a week for non-GCCA before & after school care students. Tuition can be paid either on a 12 month or 10 month cycle with FACTS Tuition Management. For example, for one child, the 10 month tuition payment would be $200 a month and for 12 months the tuition payment would be $166.67.

Admissions Process:(Traditional Face to Face Students only)

The following must be submitted by all freshman applicants:

1. A fully completed GCCA Application.

2. A non-refundable $100 admission application fee per family.

3. A non-refundable $100 registration application fee per family.

4. Official transcripts/report cards including official school stamp and/or administrator's signature, received in a sealed envelop bearing the school's logo.

5. Immunization records/Physical Examination Form

Online students (2nd thru 12th grade only) complete the online enrollment process found on the virtual school website.

Registration Fee $100 per family

Enrollment Fee $100 per family

FACTS Fee $39 per family

Fundraiser Fee $500 per family (this decreases as you submit your fundraiser monies)

TUITION

1. The registration/enrollment Fee is $35.00 (daycare) $100 per family (academy) and:

Ÿ This fee is non-refundable.

Ÿ This is a one-time fee while your child is continuously enrolled in the Grace Care Christian Academy.

Ÿ The fee is valid for 30 days.:

a. after enrollment date,

b. for early enrollment (February - May), is valid until September 1st.

2. The Material/Supply Fees are as follows:

Ÿ There is an annual $100.00 supply fee for all preschool applicants ages 2 and 3 years of age

Ÿ $150 for K4 thru 5^th Grade

Ÿ $200 for 6^th thru $8^th grade

Ÿ $300 for 9^th thru 12^th grade.

Ÿ Summer Materials Fee is $25.00 for June - August.

Ÿ Materials Fees are non-refundable.

3. Tuition Rate for the Grace Care Christian Academy is:

Ÿ currently $200 a week for infants (6weeks to 12 months)

$150 a week (13 months to 23 months)

$100 a week (24 months to 47 months)

$200 per month (ages 4 - K4 thru 12th grade) (academy students)

Ÿ This rate will remain the same as long as your child is continuously enrolled in the Grace Care Christian Academy.

Ÿ Activity Fees are not included in the above fees.

4. Tuition Payments are:

Ÿ Due before the 5^thof each month.

Ÿ Late after the 6^th or 21^st of the month.

5. Late Charges:

Ÿ are $10.00 per occurrence.

Ÿ are automatically billed after the 6^th or 21^st of the month.

6. NO Tuition Refunds, NO Pro-Rated Tuition, or NO Discounts for days missed due to:

Ÿ Illness

Ÿ Absences

Ÿ Vacation

Ÿ Holidays

Ÿ Emergencies, or

Ÿ Inclement Weather.

7. Your child will be unable to attend class if tuition is not current.

8. Payment options:

9. Non-sufficient Funds Checks:

Ÿ There will be a $35.00 charge for each NSF check returned to Grace Care Christian Academy.

Ÿ Two (2) NSF checks will result in your account being placed on “cash only” or “money order only” status.

10. Family Tuition Discounts are as follows:

Ÿ Discounts are available for families with more than one child enrolled at the Grace Care Christian Academy.

Ÿ The oldest child will be considered child number one.

Ÿ If another child is enrolled in the Grace Care Christian Academy Daycare or Preschool, this child will be considered child number two.

Ÿ One Child $2000 a year (10 month cycle)

Ÿ Two Children $2800 a year (10 month cycle)

Ÿ Three Children $3500 a year (10 month cycle)

Ÿ Four Children $4100 a year (10 month cycle)

Ÿ Five Children $4600 a year (10 month cycle)

Ÿ Six Children $5000 a year (10 month cycle)

11. Vacation Credit:

Ÿ Two (2) Week vacation after your child(ren) has been enrolled for one year (12 months) consecutive months.

Ÿ Must be taken by the week or two weeks in succession – not one or two days at a time.

Ÿ If a family vacation is planned before completing a one year (12 months) enrollment, the regular fee is collected and, after the twelfth month, the fee is credited.

Ÿ Vacation Credit may not be held over from year to year.

12. Late Pick Up Fees:

Ÿ The Grace Care Christian Academy is available from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Ÿ Your child will be accorded a five (5) minute grace period until 6:05 pm.

Ÿ After that time you will be charged $1.00 per minute for every minute after 6:05 pm.

Ÿ You will be asked to sign a Late Pick Up Form stating the time of parent arrival, the child’s name, and the parent/guardian signature.

Ÿ Repeated late arrivals will result in dis-enrollment.

13. Withdrawal Policy:

Ÿ The Grace Care Christian Academy requires thirty (30) days written notice to the Business Office prior to a child’s withdrawal from school. Also please review your tuition contract!

Ÿ Parents are responsible for monthly/weekly tuition in spite of absences.

Ÿ The Grace Care Christian Academy reserves the right to require withdrawal of a child for reason of :

a. non-cooperation.

b. delinquency in payments.

c. inability of a child or parent to adjust to our program.

HOURS OF OPERATION

We are opened Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 6:00pm. All other times are subject to special promotions and programming such as the Christmas Break program and the New Year’s Eve program. The GCCA evening childcare program is open from 3pm to 11pm. The Before and After school Program is available for students from 2pm to 6pm for one rate and from 2pm to 8pm for another rate. This program is not in conjunction with the GCCA preschool or GCCA evening childcare. Parents must state which program that their child will be enrolled in upon initial entry into the GCCA academy.

RETURNED CHECKS

There will be a $35.00 charge for each NSF check returned to Grace Care Christian Academy. Two (2) NSF checks will result in your account being placed on “cash only” or “money order only” status.
